Sarlahi Campus was established in malangwa, the headquarter of sarlahi district in 2037 BS. getting affiliation from TU with the view to spread the drier light of education throughout the general so that they can be aware of education and can enjoy their lights of education. This campus has been suffering from various scares since it was established. In beginning it was up to intermediate level with limited number of students. The infrastructure, the administrative hands and the economics condition of the campus were quite poor. The number of pass out students was few. As the years passed the campus got entry into hay day. With the help of the associative of the campus the campus took a long pace on the way of progress. The campus was turned into a graduation level campus in 2057 BS as soon as it got affiliation of B.Ed. and it got another affiliation for BBS from TU in 2064. Then it was turned into a master degree level campus in 2067 as soon as it got affiliation of M. Ed. from TU.

At present the campus runs with a co-ordination of a power-balance between campus board management committee, administrative staff ,teaching staff and associative .The campus is growing fast from its all aspects day by day. Sarlahi campus is running with the co-operation of 32 teaching and non- teaching staff handling 1151 students from +2 level to master degree level. These days campus is facilitated with competent and specialized teachers team, appropriate infrastructure with lots of desks/benches, separate Library building with student reading room, students hostel , teaching materials with projectors along with transparent boards to project teaching items on them , Computer lab , scholarship scheme for Poor and intelligent student, huge playground for extra activities and big Sarswati Temple. Moreover,it has been declared as the exam center of TU and HSEB.
The campus has recently taken a long term vision as to add Science faculty, BBA,MBA , Technical Education & E-library facility in future.

Sarlahi campus as a public education institute the senior campus, the higher level campus ,the well designed and constructed campus of sarlahi district is growing faster and faster and is successful in spreading the educational awareness among generals making them cautious towards education rights. It has enjoyed numerous achievements since its establishment such as many of the pass out students from this campus have been employed in different organization and some of them have been appointed as higher level gadgeted officers and have been working for the country for years. The campus has been selected to participate in the process of Quality Assurance and Accreditation(QAA) System organized by University Grant Commission(UGC) and has also been selected for Higher Education Reform Project( HERP) conducted by UGC.
